1 Connect Tech 2 to the car's to the car data link connector. Turn the ignition ON. When the main screen comes on, press ENTER.

2 Select "(FO): Diagnostics" from the main menu.

3 Select "Model Year" and "Vehicle Type".

4 Select "(F2): Body" from the menu.

5 Select "TWICE" (Theft Warning Central Electronics).

6 Start programming of the immobilizer by selecting "(F2) Immobilization" from the menu.

7 Select "Trionic" (1999) or "Trionic 7" (2000).

8 Follow the instructions on Tech 2. The procedure is complete when the message "Immobilizer code programmed" is displayed.

9 Erase any diagnostic trouble codes. Fuse 28 may need to be removed and refitted for communication with Tech 2 to be possible.
