The crankshaft position sensor is located at the flywheel end of the engine block.

To remove







1 Remove the engine cover.
2 Remove the turbo delivery pipe and plug the turbo delivery hose.
3 Free the sensor cable by unplugging the connector and removing the clips/cable ties.


IMPORTANT
Note the position of the cable.


4 Detach the cable.
Unscrew the sensor retaining bolt and remove the sensor. Make a note of the position of the sealing ring.

To fit







1 Clean the sensor seating and fit the sensor with the sealing ring correctly positioned.
Tightening torque retaining bolt 8 Nm (5.9 lbf ft)
2 Refit the cable and secure it with clips/cable ties.
3 Plug in the connector.
4 Fit the turbo pressure pipe and engine cover.
