To remove
1. Pull out the steering wheel to its outermost position.
2. Remove the covers on the steering column bearing bracket (3 screws).
NOTE: Take care, as there are 4 catches in the lower cover.
3. Pull out the dipswitch (2 clips).
4. Unplug the 10-pin connector.
5. Remove the switch.
To fit
1. Position the switch.
2. Spray the connector with kontakt 61 (part no.30 04 520) and plug it it.
3. Fit the covers. Pay attention to the catch on the covers.
4. Adjust the cover on the steering column bearing bracket and tighten it.
5. Readjust the steering wheel.
