Check and Resetting

1 Switch off Tech 2 and turn the ignition OFF.
2 Start the engine.
3 If the engine does not start, turn the ignition key to OFF, then remove and refit fuse 28 (engine control module).
4 Start the engine. Depress the accelerator and then check if any new diagnostic trouble codes have been generated. Rectify and erase any diagnostic trouble codes.
5 Turn the ignition OFF and wait 10 seconds. Check that the throttle is not in limp-home mode as follows:
a Remove the upper engine cover.
b Remove the cover from the throttle body.
c Turn the pedal arm clockwise.
d Check that the throttle arm does not make the reciprocal movement when the pedal arm is turned.
e To reset limp-home mode, if necessary, see WIS - Engine - Trionic T7 - Adjustments/replacement - Resetting triggered limp-home solenoid.
f Fit the cover over the throttle body and the upper engine cover.
