To remove
1. Remove the engine cover.







2. Unplug the connector.
3. Undo the sensor with a 27 mm long socket.

To fit







1. Check the sealing washer and fit a new one if necessary.
Apply Vaseline (part no.30 20 271) or equivalent to the sensor threads. Fit the sensor
Tightening torque 17 Nm (12 lbf ft)
2. Spray the connector with Kontakt 61 (part no.30 04 520). Plug in the connector.
3. Fit the cover.
