Remote Control, Programming:
The remote control for the car must be programmed (coded) for that particular car.
When the car is delivered, 2 already programmed remote controls are supplied. It is possible to have another 2 remote controls (4 in all) for the car. Programming is performed with the diagnostics instrument.
The number of pre-programmed remote controls can be checked by pressing the TAILGATE button on the remote control when the ignition key is in the ON position. SID will normally display 2 REMOTE KEY for 5 seconds. The number of key transponders is also displayed, e.g. 2 TRANSPDR.
