Installation Procedure
2008 Pontiac Grand Prix BaseSECTION Installation Procedure

- Position the right knock sensor to the engine block, if required.
- Install the right knock sensor bolt, if required.
Tighten: Tighten the bolt to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).
- Connect the right knock sensor electrical connector (2), if required.
- Position the left knock sensor to the engine block, if required.
- Install the left knock sensor bolt, if required.
Tighten: Tighten the bolt to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).
- Connect the left knock sensor electrical connector, if required.
- Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (LS4 GE 47716 Fill) or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LS4 Static Fill) .
