2008 Pontiac Grand Prix BaseSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Apply threadlock GM P/N 12345382 (Canadian P/N 10953489) or equivalent to the threads of the ignition coil bolts.
  2. Install the ignition coil(s) (722), as necessary.
  3. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  4. Install the ignition coil bolts (723), as necessary.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 8 N.m (71 lb in).

  6. Install the spark plug wire(s) (724) to the ignition coil(s), as necessary.

  8. Connect the left ignition coil main electrical connector (4).
  9. Install the CPA retainer (3).
  10. Install the engine sight shield. Refer to Upper Intake Manifold Sight Shield Replacement .
