  1. Install the ECM to the air cleaner lower housing.
  2. Fig 2: Identifying ECM Electrical Connectors

  3. Connect the ECM electrical connectors (2).
  4. Install the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement .
  5. Install the left front inner fender brace. Refer to Front Fender Upper Diagonal Brace Replacement .
  6. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (LS4) .
  7. Program the new ECM. Refer to Control Module References .
