Installation Procedure
2008 Pontiac Grand Prix BaseSECTION Installation Procedure
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2007 Buick LaCrosse and 2007 Buick Allure. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
- Install the new gasket.
- Install the throttle body assembly (1).
- Install the throttle body bolts (5) and the nuts (4).
Tighten: Tighten the bolts and the nuts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
- Connect the throttle body electrical connector.
- Install the air cleaner intake duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Inlet Duct Replacement .
- Install the fuel injector sight shield. Refer to Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement in Engine Mechanical - 3.8L.
- Fill the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System (GE 47716 Fill) or Draining and Filling Cooling System (L26 Static Fill) in Engine Cooling.
- Refer to Control Module References for programming and setup information.
