2008 Pontiac Grand Prix BaseSECTION Removal Procedure

- Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
- Remove the steering column trim covers. Refer to Steering Column Trim Covers Replacement .
- Remove the wire harness assembly from the wire harness strap.
- Remove the wire harness straps from the wire harness assembly.
- Remove the wire harness strap from the upper tilt head assembly.
- Remove the SIR steering wheel module coil retaining clip.
- Remove the SIR steering wheel module coil.
- Remove the wave washer from the steering column upper shaft.
