- Remove the fan shroud. Refer to Fan Shroud Replacement .
- Install J 46406 to the fan clutch. See Special Tools .
- Remove the fan hub nut from the water pump.
- Remove the bolts from the fan clutch.
- Separate the fan clutch from the fan blade.
