Installation Procedure
2008 Pontiac Grand Prix BaseSECTION Installation Procedure
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2008 Buick LaCrosse and 2008 Buick Allure. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
- Apply threadlock GM P/N 12345382 (Canadian P/N 10953489) or equivalent to the threads of the ignition coil bolts.
- Install the ignition coil(s) (722), as necessary.
- Install the ignition coil bolts (723), as necessary.
Tighten: Tighten the bolts to 8 N.m (71 lb in).
- Install the spark plug wire(s) (724) to the ignition coil(s), as necessary.
- Connect the left ignition coil main electrical connector (4).
- Install the CPA retainer (3).
- Install the engine sight shield. Refer to Upper Intake Manifold Sight Shield Replacement .
