  1. Remove the fuel sender assembly. Refer to Fuel Tank Fuel Pump Module Replacement .
  2. Disconnect the fuel level sensor electrical connector (1).

  4. Push in the fuel level sensor retainer (1).

  6. Slide the fuel level sensor (1) downward and off of the bucket.
