2008 Pontiac Grand Prix BaseSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Install the CKP sensor.
  2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  3. Install the CKP sensor bolt.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

  5. Connect the CKP sensor electrical connector (1).
  6. Install the right exhaust manifold. Refer to Exhaust Manifold Replacement - Right Side (3.8L) or Exhaust Manifold Replacement - Right Side (RPO LY7) .
  7. Perform the CKP system variation learn procedure. Refer to Crankshaft Position System Variation Learn .
