  1. Position the window in between the inner and the outer panels.
    1. Point the lower front corner of the front door window down.
    2. Pass the front door window through the belt opening.
    3. Align the edges of the window with the door window weatherstrip.
    4. Ensure that both sealing lips on the front door outer belt sealing strip are not rolled over and pointing downward.

      If this condition is present, the window will not raise properly.

  2. Raise the window regulator to the middle position.
  3. Install the rearward window to the guide retainer, snap the window into the window regulator.
  4. Remove the masking tape.
  5. Inspect the window for proper operation.
  6. Install the front door inner belt sealing strip. Refer to Front Side Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement .
  7. Install the front door water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  8. Install the front door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
