2008 Pontiac Grand Prix BaseSECTION Removal Procedure

    IMPORTANT: Transfer all necessary parts to the sunroof module.
  1. Remove the sunroof window. Refer to Sunroof Window Replacement .

  3. Remove the sunshade panel. Refer to Sunroof Sunshade Replacement .
  4. It is only necessary to lower the headliner. Only do those step in headliner replacement that will lower the headliner enough to gain access to the part. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement .
  5. Disconnect the electrical connector from the sunroof module.

  7. Disconnect the front and rear drain hoses from the sunroof module.

  9. Have an assistant support the sunroof module.
  10. Remove the bolts from the sunroof module.
  11. Remove the sunroof module from the vehicle with an assistant.
