2008 Pontiac Grand Prix BaseSECTION Installation Procedure

- Position the wiper arm onto the wiper transmission.
- Align the wiper blades to the small voids in the windshield blackout (1 and 2).
- Apply Threadlocking compound, GM P/N 89021297 (Canadian P/N 10953488) or equivalent, to the wiper arm nut.
- Install the wiper arm nut.
Tighten: Tighten the nut to 30 N.m (22 lb ft).
- Install the wiper arm nut cover.
- Connect the washer hose to the wiper arm.
- Operate the windshield wipers and inspect for proper operation.
- Close the hood.
