  1. Disconnect the harness connector at the Tire Pressure Control Module.
  2. Disconnect the harness connector at the IPC.
  3. Test for less than 1 ohm of resistance between the vehicle speed signal circuit terminal 2 and terminal 17.
    • If greater than the specified value, test the vehicle speed signal circuit for an open/high resistance.
  4. Test for infinite resistance between the vehicle speed signal circuit terminal 2 and ground.
    • If not the specified value, test vehicle speed signal circuit for a short to ground, if circuit tests normal replace the tire pressure control module.
