2008 Pontiac Grand Prix BaseSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Install the backing plate (5) with the rear wheel bearing and hub assembly. Refer to Rear Wheel Bearing and Hub Replacement .
  2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  3. Install the park brake cable and the bolt to the backing plate.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 7.8 N.m (69.04 lb in).

  4. Install the wheel cylinder. Refer to Wheel Cylinder Replacement .
