Installation Procedure
2008 Pontiac Grand Prix BaseSECTION Installation Procedure

- Position the rear wiper shaft cover (1) to the wiper motor assembly (2).
- Install the 3 screws (3) to the wiper shaft cover (1).
- Position the junction switch (5) to the wiper motor assembly (2) and install the nut (4).
- Reconnect the junction switch electrical connector (6).
- Position the wiper motor assembly (5) to the liftgate glass (8).
- Install the 2 nuts (6) to the wiper motor assembly (5).
Tighten: Tighten the nuts to 5.5 N.m (49 lb in).
- Reconnect the 2 rear defogger electrical connectors (3).
- Install the wiper motor cover (7).
- Close the liftgate glass (8).
- Install the wiper packing (2).
- Install the wiper packing nut (1).
Tighten: Tighten the nut to 7.0 N.m (62 lb in).
- Install the rear wiper arm. Refer to Rear Window Wiper Arm Replacement .
