2008 Pontiac Grand Prix BaseSECTION Installation Procedure

- Position the battery positive fuse block feed cable into the vehicle.
- Install the battery positive fuse block feed cable to the underhood fuse block.
- Install the battery positive fuse block feed cable to positive (+) battery cable. Secure with the nut (5).
Tighten: Tighten the positive (+) battery cable-to-relay block 1 feed cable retaining nut to 9 N.m (78 lb in).
- Tape the loom to prevent dirt and moisture from entering the harness.
- Install the positive (+) battery cable harness loom to the harness retainers.
- Install the plastic insulator to the positive (+) battery cable.
- Install the battery to the vehicle. Refer to Battery Replacement .
