Removal Procedure
2008 Pontiac Grand Prix BaseSECTION Removal Procedure

- Open the liftgate.
- Remove the liftgate trim panel. Refer to Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement .
- Disconnect the window latch electrical connector (2) from the liftgate harness (1).
- Remove the window latch electrical connector retainer (3) from the liftgate (4).
- Close the liftgate.
- Open the liftgate window.
- Remove the bolts (3) from the rear liftgate window connector (4).
- Remove the rear liftgate window connector (4) away from the liftgate (5).
- Remove the bolts (2) from the liftgate window latch (1).
- Pull liftgate window latch (1) away from liftgate (5) and disconnect the rod from the latch.
