Installation Procedure
2008 Pontiac Grand Prix BaseSECTION Installation Procedure

- Install the side impact sensor (1).
- Install the side impact sensor fastener (2).
Tighten: Tighten the fastener to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
- Install the side impact sensor electrical connector.
- Install the front seat belt retractor. Refer to Seat Belt Retractor Pretensioner Replacement - Left Front or Seat Belt Retractor Pretensioner Replacement - Right Front .
- Install the center pillar lower trim panel. Refer to Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement .
- Install the rear door sill plate. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement .
- Install the front door sill plate. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement .
- Enable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
