Installation Procedure
2008 Pontiac Grand Prix BaseSECTION Installation Procedure

- Install the SDM assembly (1) into the vehicle, taking care to ensure that the connectors are pointing toward the rear of the vehicle.
- Install the 3 SDM fasteners (2).
Tighten: Tighten the fasteners to 17.5 N.m (13 lb ft).
- Install the SDM electrical connectors.
- Install the under seat duct.
- Install the center console and then install the rear console. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement .
- Enable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
- Refer to Control Module References for programming and setup information.
