- Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
- Remove the catalytic converter guard. Refer to Catalytic Converter Guard Replacement .
- Remove the transfer case shield. Refer to Transfer Case Shield Replacement .
- Support the transmission with a suitable stand or jack.
- Remove the nuts retaining the transmission mount to the transmission support.
- Raise the transmission.
- Remove the bolts and the nuts retaining the transmission support to the frame.
- Remove the transmission support from the frame.
