Removal Procedure

2008 Pontiac Grand Prix BaseSECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the assist step if equipped. Refer to Assist Step Replacement (w/WS2, BVX)  or Assist Step Replacement (Tubular BVE) .
  3. Remove the EVAP canister vent valve bracket. Refer to Evaporative Emission Canister Vent Solenoid Valve Replacement .
  4. Fig 1: Rocker Panel Protector

  5. Remove the mounting bolts.
  6. Remove the rocker panel protector from the vehicle.
