2008 Pontiac Grand Prix BaseSECTION Circuit/System Testing

- Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connectors X3 and X4 from the BCM.
- Test for less than 1.0 ohm between the ground circuits X3 terminal 1, X3 terminal 5, and X4 terminal 9 and the negative terminal of the battery.
- If greater than the specified value, repair the ground circuit.
- Ignition ON, verify that a test lamp illuminates between the B+ circuits X3 terminal 3 and X4 terminal 10 of the BCM and ground.
- If the test lamp does not illuminate, test the B+ circuit for a short to ground or an open/high resistance.
- If all circuits test normal, replace the BCM.
