  1. Ignition OFF, disconnect the a/v box harness connector C2.
  2. Ignition ON, verify that a test lamp illuminates between the ground circuit terminal 9 and battery +.
    • If the test lamp does not illuminate, test the ground circuit for an open/high resistance.
  3. Ignition ON, verify that a test lamp illuminates between the B+ circuit terminal 7 and ground.
    • If the test lamp does not illuminate, test the B+ circuit for an open/high resistance.
    • If the circuit tests normal and the SEO ACCY fuse is open, test the B+l circuit terminal 7 for a short to ground.
  4. Ignition OFF, connect the a/v box harness connector C2
  5. Ignition ON, operate the DVD player in play mode.
  6. Is the system operating normally.
    • If yes, review the system operation with the customer.
    • If no, test the power and ground circuits to the DVD player.
  7. If the circuits test ok, replace the a/v box,
