Installation Procedure
2008 Pontiac Grand Prix BaseSECTION Installation Procedure

- Install the rear brackets to the sunroof module.
- Install the sunroof module assembly to the vehicle.
- Install the retaining bolts to the sunroof module.
Tighten: Tighten the bolts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
- Install the retaining nuts to the sunroof module rear brackets.
Tighten: Tighten the nuts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
- Install the rear drain hoses. Refer to Sunroof Housing Rear Drain Hose Replacement (SUT) or Sunroof Housing Rear Drain Hose Replacement (SUV) .
- Install the front drain hoses. Refer to Sunroof Housing Front Drain Hose Replacement
- Synchronize the sunroof motor and module assembly. Refer to Sunroof Track Timing/Synchronization .
- Install the sunroof glass panel. Refer to Sunroof Glass Panel Replacement .
- Install the sunroof sunshade. Refer to Sunroof Sunshade Replacement .
- Verify proper operation of the sunroof.
- Install the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (SUT) or Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (SUV) .
- Install the sunroof finishing lace. Refer to Sunroof Opening Trim Finish Lace Replacement .
