2008 Pontiac Grand Prix BaseSECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Open the spare tire carrier to the full open position.
  2. Open the endgate.
  3. Fig 1: Bed Rail Protector

  4. Release the plastic retainer at the endgate side of the bed rail protector.
  5. Remove the screws securing the cargo box rail to the body.
  6. Remove the bed rail.
  7. Release the retainer clips.
  8. Lift and remove the cargo box rail protector.
