  1. Remove the ignition switch lock cylinder. Refer to Ignition Switch Lock Cylinder Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
  2. Disengage the retainers (1,2) from the theft deterrent reader module.

    Remove the theft deterrent module (3) from the lock cylinder housing.
