Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rear shelf trim panel. Refer to Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
  2. Remove the screws from the child seat tether brackets.
  3. Remove the child seat tether brackets from the rear shelf.

Installation Procedure

  1. Position the child seat tether brackets to the slot in the rear shelf.
  2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  3. Install the screws to the child seat tether brackets.

    Tighten:  Tighten the screws to the child seat tether brackets to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).

  4. Install the rear shelf trim panel. Refer to Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
