2008 Pontiac Grand Prix BaseSECTION Installation procedure

- Install the A/T tap shift switches (2).
- Connect the electrical connectors.
- Install the screws (1) to the tap shift switches.
Tighten: Tighten the screws to 3.5 N.m (31 lb in).
- Connect the electrical connectors to the radio control switches.
- Install the steering wheel radio controls (2) to the steering wheel cover.
- Position the steering wheel cover to the steering wheel. Install the bolts (1) to the steering wheel cover.
Tighten: Tighten the bolts to 3.5 N.m (31 lb in).
- Install the steering wheel inflatable restraint module. Refer to Inflatable Restraint Steering Wheel Module Replacement in SIR.
- Enable the SIR System. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
