Removal Procedure

Remove the rear shelf trim panel. Refer to Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
- Slide the sound barrier out from under the upper quarter panel trim.
- Pull the sound barrier forward to access the tether bolts.
- Remove the child seat tether bracket to rear shelf bolts.
- Remove the child seat tether brackets from the rear shelf.
Installation Procedure
- Install the child seat tether brackets to the slots in the rear shelf.
- Install the child seat tether bracket to rear shelf bolts.
Tighten: Tighten the child seat tether bracket to rear shelf bolts to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).
- Push the sound barrier back into its original position.
- Install the rear shelf trim panel. Refer to Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
