2008 Pontiac Grand Prix BaseSECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  2. NOTE: Refer to Catalytic Converter Movement Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Support the exhaust system.
  4. Fig 1: View Of Catalytic Converter Hangers

  5. Remove the 3-way catalytic converter pipe hangers.
  6. Inspect the 3-way catalytic converter brackets for serviceability. Repair or replace as necessary.
