Installation Procedure
- Install the muffler tail pipe into the muffler until the stop is reached.
- Align the muffler tail pipe centerline (1) to the rear fascia (2).
Specification: ± 2 degrees rotational angularity in relation to horizontal.
- Align the muffler tail pipe height to the rear fascia (1).
Specification: 35 mm (1.38 in) to 45 mm (1.77 in) (maximum allowable difference of 3 mm (0.12 in) between left and right tail pipe).
- Center the exhaust tail pipe to the rear fascia (1, 2).
Specification:
- Rear fascia (inner) to tail pipe (1) 11.2 mm (0.441 in).
- Rear fascia (outer) to tail pipe (2) 11.3 mm (0.445 in)
- Tighten the exhaust tail pipe extension clamp nut.
Tighten: Tighten the nut to 68 N.m (50 lb ft).
