  1. Install a NEW catalytic converter to muffler gasket (2).

  3. If equipped with RPO LS4, install a NEW exhaust manifold pipe gasket (1).

  5. If equipped with RPO L26/L32, install a NEW exhaust manifold pipe gasket (1).
  6. Remove the catalytic converter. Refer to Catalytic Converter Replacement (L26)  or Catalytic Converter Replacement (LS4) .
