IMPORTANT:
The vehicle must be located in a quiet area.
- Ignition ON, press OnStar® Call button. Verify that your voice cannot be heard clearly by the OnStar® Call Center.
- If your voice can not be heard clearly, refer to OnStar Microphone Inoperative - Caller Cannot Be Heard .
- Press the OnStar® Call answer button. Verify that OnStar® system did not recognize any of your hands-free voice commands.
- Press the OnStar® Call answer button. Verify that OnStar® system did not recognize any of another person voice commands either.
- If the voice commands are not recognized by OnStar® system, refer to OnStar Description and Operation .
- If the system is operational, but cannot identify certain word commands due to pronunciation, for tips on proper pronunciation refer to OnStar Description and Operation .
