Installation Procedure
1998 Pontiac Firebird V8-5.7L VIN GSECTION Installation Procedure
Description:
1. Install the SDM (1) to the bracket (3).
NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Vehicle Damage Warnings.
2. Install the SDM mounting fasteners (2).
Tighten
Tighten fasteners to 8 N.m (71 lb. in).

3. Install the SDM harness connector to the SDM.
Description:
4. Install the Connector Position Assurance (CPA) to the SDM harness connector.
5. Install the front floor console.
6. Enable the SIR system. Refer to Enabling the SIR System.
