1. Disconnect TPS electrical connector.
2. Remove two TPS attaching screws, lockwashers and retainers.
3. Remove TPS.
4. With throttle valve in normal closed idle position, install TPS. Ensure TPS pickup lever is located above tang on throttle actuator lever, Fig. 339.
5. Apply thread locking compound 1052624 or equivalent to screw threads, then install retainers, lockwashers and screws. On 4-110 (1.8L) and 4-122 (2.0L) Turbo models, tighten screws. On all other models, adjust TPS as outlined.
