POWER STEERING PRESSURE SWITCH CHECK
3.0L "N" SERIES, 3.8L "A & C" SERIES
FUEL INJECTION (PORT)
The power steering pressure switch opens when P.S. pressure goes high, such as on a full turn in either direction. When the P.S. switch opens, it turns the A/C relay off, and also sends a signal the ECM. The ECM uses this signal for idle control.

1. Checks to see that P.S. pressure switch opens when pressure goes high.
2. Checks to see that P.S. pressure switch is normally closed.
