Transmission Control Module (TCM) Resetting Procedure (Avenger & SEBRING Coupe)
After work has been performed on vehicle, connect scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC) and check for Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC). If DTC 12 (BATTERY POWER WAS DISCONNECTED SINCE LAST POWER DOWN) is set into memory, clear DTC using scan tool. Select SPECIAL FUNCTION on scan tool and set to QUICK LEARN MODE. This enables TCM to learn the clutch volume index. After performing reset procedure, recheck system operation.
