Powertrain Control Module

2000 Plymouth Breeze 2.0 C, Standard, T350SECTION Powertrain Control Module
NOTE: If Powertrain Control Module (PCM) was replaced, the correct vehicle mileage and Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) must be programmed into the PCM to prevent DTCs from being set in Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) module and Air Bag Control Module (ACM). PCM does not have a specific programming procedure. After vehicle starts, PCM performs learn procedure while car is being driven. Driveability variances may occur until PCM completes automatic learn procedure.

Obtain vehicle's unique Personal Identification Number (PIN) assigned to Sentry Key Immobilizer Module (SKIM) module from vehicle owner or manufacturer. Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC). Turn ignition on. Using scan tool, enter correct VIN and mileage into PCM. Go to next step. Using scan tool, clear DTCs from ABS and ACM. After entering VIN and clearing DTCs, secret key data must be programmed into PCM from SKIM. See SKIM MODULE .
