Body Control Module
Turn ignition on for at least 15 seconds to learn the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) to enable engine starting. On vehicles equipped with Vehicle Theft Security System (VTSS), use scan tool to enable VTSS. Using scan tool, program all other options as necessary.

When to See a Mechanic
Stop DIY work and contact a certified mechanic immediately if any of the following apply:

- • Brakes feel soft, pull hard to one side, or make grinding noises.
- • The engine overheats, stalls repeatedly, or misfires under load.
