- Ensure battery is fully charged. Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC). DLC is located below instrument panel, near steering column.
- Using scan tool manufacturer's instructions, retrieve and record DTCs displayed on scan tool. Perform appropriate self-diagnostic test. See SELF-DIAGNOSTIC TESTS . Once repairs are made, clear DTCs from PCM memory. See CLEARING DTCS .
