Removing Ignition Switch:

Remove ignition switch in numbered sequence, noting the following:
1. With key removed, install slide lever to steering lock cylinder.
2. Connect key interlock cable to slide lever and steering lock cylinder as shown.
3. Apply coating of multi-purpose grease where shown.
4. Remove horn pad attaching screw, then the horn pad by pressing upward.
5. Remove steering wheel using wheel puller.
CAUTION: Do not use hammer as this may damage collapsible mechanism.
6. Reverse procedure to install.
