1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove connector from ignition switch.
3. Place ignition lock in "Lock" position and remove key.
4. Remove two ignition switch mounting screws and permit switch and pushrod to drop below column jacket.
5. Rotate switch 90° for removal of switch from pushrod.
6. Position ignition switch in "Lock" position, second detent from top of the switch.
7. Place switch at right angle to column and insert pushrod.
8. Align switch on bracket and loosely install screws.
9. With a light rearward load on switch, tighten attaching screws.
10. Connect ignition switch wiring connector and battery ground cable.
11. Check for proper operation.
