2004 Oldsmobile Bravada RWDSECTION Installation Procedure

CAUTION: In order to reduce the risk of fire and personal injury, before connecting fuel pipe fittings, always apply a few drops of clean engine oil to the male pipe ends. This will ensure proper reconnection and prevent a possible fuel leak. During normal operation, the O-rings located in the female connector will swell and may prevent proper reconnection if not lubricated.
  1. Apply a few drops of clean engine oil to the male end.

  3. Push both fittings together in order to snap the retaining tabs into place.

  5. Once installed, pull on both sides to ensure the connection is secure.

  7. Install the fuel feed/return pipe retainers.

  9. Install the fuel fill cap.
  10. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure (Single Battery) or Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure (Auxiliary Battery) in Engine Electrical.
