2004 Oldsmobile Bravada RWDSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. With an assistant, align the hinges to the marks made at disassembly in order to install the endgate window to the vehicle.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the bolts that retain the endgate window hinges to the vehicle.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the bolts to 6 N.m (53 lb in).

  3. Install the endgate window struts. Refer to STRUT REPLACEMENT - END GATE .
  4. Connect the rear window defogger connectors, if equipped.
  5. Install the high mount stoplamp (endgate window-mounted only). Refer to HIGH MOUNTED STOP LAMP REPLACEMENT (UTILITY - ENDGATE WINDOW) or HIGH MOUNTED STOP LAMP REPLACEMENT (UTILITY - ROOF MOUNTED) or HIGH MOUNTED STOP LAMP REPLACEMENT (PICKUP) in Lighting Systems.
